Itineraries
Itineraries
Build, price, and send safari trip plans.
The itineraries module is where most of your day-to-day work happens. Once your content library and rate cards are populated, you build trips here, price them, and send them to clients.
What's in this section
- Building an itinerary. Day-by-day construction, AI assistance, drag-and-drop, the activity modal.
- Pricing an itinerary. How the pricing tab works, line overrides, margins.
- Proposals. Publishing, themes, branding, PDF export.
- Sharing. Public links, password protection, expiry.
- Collaboration. Comments, tagging, real-time editing.
The itineraries list
Open Itineraries from the sidebar to see all trips. You can:
- Search by client name, trip name, or destination.
- Filter by status (draft, sent, accepted, declined, archived) and date range.
- Sort by departure date, value, or last-updated.
- Bulk archive trips that are done.
The list also shows status indicators:
- Eye icon — proposal has been viewed by the client (hover for view count and last-viewed time).
- Speech bubble — client has left comments.
- Green check — proposal accepted.
- Red X — proposal declined.
Creating a new itinerary
Three ways:
- Blank. Click New itinerary and start from scratch.
- From a tour template. Pick from your tours and the days pre-populate.
- Clone an existing trip. Right-click any itinerary in the list and choose Duplicate. Useful for repeat business or "build me one like the Smith trip" enquiries.
Status lifecycle
- Draft. Default. Editable, not yet sent.
- Sent. A proposal has been published and a link shared. Editable but the published version stays frozen until you republish.
- Accepted. Client clicked accept. Pricing is locked; further edits require unlocking.
- Declined. Client clicked decline. Read-only.
- Archived. Removed from default views. Still searchable.
Statuses move automatically based on client actions, but you can override them manually if needed.
